This is very exciting for us here at Stone Hill, as we have not had a litter of Dalmatian puppies in over Three Years!
I hope to be able to share this Journey with everyone on this Blog. I'm not the most proficient writer and lord knows my spelling can be atrocious, but I want to share all the ups and downs of this Journey!
Venus Has had many surprises in store for me over the Years. She finished her Championship so quickly and then moved on to Agility where she excelled and recently got her MACH (Master Agility Championship) In order to earn that Title she needed to Qualify in Both The Agility Standard and Jumpers Courses in the Same Day Twenty Times. She also needed to accumulate 750 points (which are earned by a point for each second you are under course time)
I have been working with her in Obedience and after she finishes her new accomplishment (having puppies) we will journey on down that road! I expect her to excel there also as she is always willing to try!
So now the story of her Mother hood begins!! Please share any and all thoughts you have, it will be fun!!!!
In true Venus Style the puppies were Born via an emergency C-section! Six beautiful Girls..... On Aug 2, 2012.....

Good luck with the blogging, raising a litter and working fulltime. I thought I would do the same and i was lucky to get a post every other week. It was so much more fun to play with puppies than tell someone else about them.
ReplyDeleteIt had been 10 years since I raised a litter in my house and it seemed like I was calling Jina and Sandy every other day asking" what should I..." or "Is this normal...." anyway they were a great support system and I was very fortunate to have 4 beautiful, wonderfully temperamented puppies. I truly believe that the full time attention they got made all the difference. We also introduced them to Dr. Battaglia's neur stimulation starting on day 3-16 and I can tell you at 6 weeks they were fearless.... doing little agility stuff like pro's. Karen Mac
Hey Karen Thanks!
DeleteYes I am going to try the Dr. Battaglia method also. Like I said any and all input is welcome!! Thanks for posting!!
